we’re both just here for the zipline
pardon m\y splash, i'll trade your hand for this pool.
once\
our lo\ve
flew, e\ach kiss
sparked\ & we knew
forever a\s a straight line
A to Z tog\ether. dawn dappled
sheets, trac\ing scars and secrets.
when did th\e light die in our eyes?
we turned to \cheap thrills, from reality
tv to cliff jum\ping, anything to feel alive.
i love you still \though we can’t have everything
in life. pardon m\y splash, i'll trade your hand for this pool.
this is goodbye \
