after Wong May

Dead,

Eating the crawfish

the crawfish and their bodies

Taking your fingers to them

Your fingers to the bodies

the bodies of the crawfish

Like eating a mandarin orange

an overripe mandarin orange

With its soppy sweet fruit

Dead.
