Gordon Ramsay was named in the matchday squad for the first team. admitting-he-didn’t-have-it-in-him didn’t mix. You don’t store cooked meat beside raw meat. Knee ligaments, he says, explaining why he didn’t become the next Lionel Messi. If it hadn't been for that, who knows? Now he screams like he’s the coach of this kitchen and he knows you don’t have it in you. And the back of a meat cleaver show him who he is.

Ewen Glass (he/him) is a screenwriter and poet from Northern Ireland who lives with two dogs, a tortoise and lots of self-doubt; his poetry has appeared or is forthcoming in Okay Donkey, HAD, Poetry Scotland, Roi Fainéant and elsewhere. His debut chapbook ‘The Art of Washing What You Can't Touch’ is available from Alien Buddha Press.
