Such a Tincture

by Sadee Bee

Fill my blood with Belladonna and Hearts ease–until there
is nothing left of you. May it slip into my bones as I lay
beneath the full moon. Waiting for a metamorphosis–that rips,
claws, and tears itself free from within. It is–filled with rage
–begging to be set free. In trying to forget–all I can do
is remember. Such a tincture–only erases lost love.
The pain of heartbreak. Revealing the depths–of all
it has buried. A snake-headed vessel–seeking to ravage.
Yes–I have shifted. Become something–more powerful
than you ever expected. A Fury–that will never forget
–the oppression your love put me through.
