Space Potato
You say love and I realize we are speaking different languages. My English is not your English, my North is your West, even my heart beats a different rhythm. Paint me in green and velcro antennas to my head: I am an alien drifting through outer space. Yes, gravity brought us together, but really, I’m spinning dumbly, collecting space dust, making my own small orbits of foreign objects. Everything I think, everything I am is foreign. You say love and I say volcano. Potato. Prosciutto. What.
